About these tools
The tools in this category share a problem: the free versions elsewhere want your document. An invoice generator that builds the PDF on its server has your client's name, address and the amount you charged. A résumé builder that needs an account has your employment history. Neither needs any of it — the work is entirely arithmetic and layout, and a browser can do both.
So these run locally, produce a real file, and ask for nothing. No account, no email address for the download, and no watermark that only comes off if you subscribe.
The date and time zone tools are here for a different reason: both are full of edge cases that most implementations get wrong. Counting days by subtracting timestamps is off by one on the two days a year the clocks change. Adding a month to the 31st has no clean answer and needs a stated convention. Time zone abbreviations are ambiguous — CST is three different zones — and offsets change when governments decide they do. Those cases are the reason the tools exist rather than a footnote to them.
