This is not boilerplate. The calculators here touch money, tax and health — three areas where a confident-looking number can do real damage if it is treated as a decision rather than an estimate.
Financial and tax tools
The mortgage, loan, take-home pay, retirement, tax and interest calculators produce estimates based on the figures you enter and on published rates as at the tax year printed on each page.
They are not personal financial advice, tax advice, or an offer of credit. They cannot know your full circumstances — other income, allowances you are entitled to, relief you have already claimed, a lender’s own criteria, or the dozens of edge cases in any real tax code. Two people entering identical numbers can owe genuinely different amounts.
Tax rates, thresholds and rules change, sometimes mid-year and sometimes retrospectively. A page that was correct when written can be wrong now. Every calculator prints the tax year and the source it uses so you can check.
Before acting on any figure from this site — accepting a mortgage, planning a tax bill, deciding what you can afford — check it with a qualified accountant, tax adviser, mortgage broker or financial adviser regulated in your country.
Health and fitness tools
BMI, body fat, calorie and TDEE calculators use population-level formulas that describe averages, not individuals. BMI in particular is a crude measure that does not distinguish muscle from fat and misclassifies plenty of perfectly healthy people. A number from it is a starting point for a conversation, not a diagnosis.
Pregnancy due dates and ovulation windows are estimates from typical cycle lengths. Real cycles vary, and only a healthcare provider using an actual scan can date a pregnancy properly. Do not use a fertility estimate from this or any website as contraception; it is not reliable for that purpose and was never designed to be.
Nothing here should be used to diagnose, treat, or decide whether to seek care. If you are worried about a symptom, speak to a doctor rather than a calculator. If a result here concerns you, that is a reason to get proper advice, not a reason to act on the number.
Documents and legal matters
The PDF and image tools change files. They do not check whether a document is valid, properly executed, legally binding, or suitable for the purpose you have in mind.
Adding a signature image to a PDF is not the same as executing a document, and the requirements differ by country and by document type. A watermark marks a document; it does not protect it. Covering text with a box does not remove the text underneath, and that specific mistake is how confidential material escapes from supposedly redacted files.
For anything with legal consequences, take proper advice.
Your files
Operations here are performed on your device and the original file on your disk is never modified — you always download a new copy. Even so, keep your original until you have opened the output and confirmed it is what you wanted.
Some operations are inherently lossy and say so on the page: compressing a PDF flattens the text, converting a page to an image ends its searchability, and re-encoding a photograph discards detail. These are stated before you start, not after.
