Who this is
Storage on this site is the responsibility of Shop Digi Soft, a sole proprietorship based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India, at Malakpet, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Questions or requests go to grab@shopdigisoftware.com.
The short version
You can see exactly what is on your device right now, and clear it, using the link — it reads your browser’s actual storage rather than showing you a list we wrote in advance.
What is in use today
| Name | Type | Category | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| theme | localStorage | Necessary | Remembers whether you chose the light or dark appearance. The word 'light' or 'dark'. |
Until you clear your browser storage. |
| country | localStorage | Necessary | Remembers which country you selected, so calculators use the right tax rules, currency, date order and paper size. One of 'us', 'uk', 'ca', 'au' or 'in'. |
Until you clear your browser storage. |
| consent | localStorage | Necessary | Remembers your choice about analytics and advertising storage, so you are not asked again on every page. Your choice for each category, and the date you made it. |
Twelve months, then you are asked again. |
| announce | localStorage | Necessary | Remembers that you dismissed the strip at the top of the page, so it stays dismissed. The word 'off', and nothing else. |
Until you clear your browser storage. |
| recent-tools | localStorage | Necessary | Remembers which tools you opened, so the home page can offer them again and suggest related ones. Up to eight short tool names, such as pdf-merge. Nothing about the files you opened, no times, no counts and no identifier. |
Until you clear your browser storage. Only the last eight are kept. |
| etp-handoff | IndexedDB | Necessary | Holds a file for a few seconds while you move from the home page into a studio, because a file cannot travel in a web address. The file you dropped. It is never sent anywhere. |
Deleted the moment the studio reads it, and after five minutes regardless. |
These are strictly necessary: the site cannot do what you asked without them. Under the UK and EU ePrivacy rules and their equivalents elsewhere, storage of this kind does not require consent — which is why you are not asked about it.
None of them is a cookie in the technical sense. They are browser storage, which is never transmitted with a request, so they are not visible to the server at all.
What would be used if advertising or analytics were switched on
| Name | Type | Category | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| _ga, _gid and similar | cookie | Analytics | Would measure how many people visit and which pages they use. | Up to two years. |
| Google advertising cookies | cookie | Advertising | Would let Google choose and measure the advertisements shown on this site. | Varies, typically up to two years. |
| Affiliate network cookies | cookie | Advertising | Set by the shop you land on after following a recommendation link, so the shop can credit this site if you buy something. They are set on that shop’s site, not on this one. | Set by the network — commonly 24 hours to 90 days. |
Nothing in this table will be set without your agreement. If either category is switched on, you will be asked before anything is stored, with "reject all" as easy to press as "accept all", and the site will work exactly the same either way.
Your choice, and how to change it
The link in the footer of every page opens a panel that does three things: it shows what is stored on your device right now, read live from your browser; it lets you allow or refuse each non-necessary category; and it lets you clear everything this site can reach.
A choice is remembered for twelve months, after which you are asked again. You can change it at any point in between.
Cookies set by another company’s website — the shop you land on after following a recommendation link — belong to that company and cannot be cleared from here. Your browser’s own settings can remove them, as can the shop’s own privacy controls.
Controlling storage in your browser
Every browser lets you block or delete cookies and site storage, usually under Privacy or Site Settings. Blocking storage for this site entirely is fine: you will lose your theme and country preference and be asked again each visit, but every tool will still work, because none of them depends on stored data to function.
